Shelly L. Brown, Esquire

Shelly l. Brown has over 20 years of experience successfully representing individuals and organizations in the Circuit, District Courts of Maryland and in the District of Columbia. She has cultivated vast expertise in criminal and juvenile law, personal injury, and has established a proven track record of strongly advocating on behalf of her clients.
Ms. Brown has always embraced people from all walks of life and served as a strong advocate and champion for the individuals she represents. She seeks opportunities to eliminate cultural bias in all aspects of life and strives to ensure everyone receives a fair and just experience in the judicial system.
Brown is a native of the Washington D.C. area and resides in Columbia, MD. She is the proud mother of two high-achieving children who participate regularly in community charity events and excel in academics and sports. She is very active in her community and serves on the boards of multiple civic organizations and in 2013 founded, Common Sense Life Skills, which assists young women in the juvenile court system to develop vital skills that enable them to overcome difficult situations.

Shelly L. Brown has a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Maryland, College Park and earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Baltimore’s School of Law.
